Detailed Capital and Operation Expenses
Project Overview

House of Grace and Hope are please to announcement our fundraising partnership with Blue Nile Children’s Organization (BNCO), a nonprofit organization based in Seattle and operating as a licensed NGO in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  BNCO’s mission is two-fold: to build a promising future for orphaned children in one of the most impoverished neighborhoods in Addis Ababa and to address the critical public health needs of this neighborhood and surrounding communities.

Blue Nile operates the Richard Oslund Memorial Clinic in Addis Ababa, considered a medium level clinic.  The clinic currently provides basic maternal and child health care, treatment for injuries and infections, immunizations, family planning services, basic prenatal care and health education.  The Ethiopian government has identified a gap in the range of services, specifically in labor and delivery, and the clinic needs to upgrade the facility to fully comply with the government’s medium level requirements.

Fundraising Goal

Hope of Grace and Hope are raising funds on behalf of Blue Nile to meet the $26,388 one-time capital expense to upgrade the clinic.  This includes a guesthouse renovation, medical and office equipment.  100% of all donations designated for the Blue Nile clinic upgrade will be transferred to Blue Nile and used exclusively on the upgrade.  House of Grace and Hope will keep the fundraising goals updated to show actual donations versus the goal.  If you are interested in sponsoring a specific piece of equipment or other capital item, please let us know.   If you donate using our Paypal link, please type Blue Nile or BNCO in the comment section provided by Paypal.  We want to thank you for visiting this site and hope you will partner with us to make this clinic upgrade a reality in Addis Ababa.
